End of one year and beginning of another – that means it is
time to make reflective/retrospective lists! I have two that I will offer (one
at a time) – books and movies. That tells you how I spent most of my time and
maybe why I do not have many friends. Sad.
I’m going to start with books: total – 67 books/periodicals
11,000 pages in total
I am counting periodicals because they take time and energy
to read and should count just as much as books gosh darn it! I only count them
when I have read the entire issue from cover to cover – no cheating!
I read a lot of fiction this year thanks to a book club with
my church. I’m not sure I’m happy about that, it makes me a little less
snobbish.
The links are to reflections I have made on that book.

After looking this over I hope to read much more non-fiction
next year. I need to keep my snobby little head buried in the minutia of academics,
facts, and ideas. We will see how it goes.
